User's notes
Cap is conical initially, then flattens out, is 2.5 to 3.5 cm diameter, stalk is 5 cm long. Lovely pure colour.

This looks somewhat like the red brick caps (Hypholoma lateritium syn Hypholoma sublateritium) from the northern hemisphere (UK, Europe, US etc). This is assuming the caps are far from mature and are growing in a leafy wood chip mulch.

The caps are certainly brick red and seem to have veil remnants round the edge in older caps. Growing in leaf mulch, cant see any wood chips. I notice they are listed as mildly poisonous - maybe I had better remove them. them.

Certainly something in the Hypholoma line and another possibility is Leratiomyces ceres, which was once placed in the genus Hypholoma.

Those little white flecks around the edge of the cap, along with the other characters are typical of Leratiomyces ceres as you suggest Heino

I removed a few but many more have developed and I have left them because they wont last long in this dry weather and they are very attractive.!
