A mother fox and her litter made their home in an adjacent drain with unfortunate consequences for the birds in the adjacent Hughes Garran Woodland. The trapped fox was collected by the appropriate authorities and the drain eventually has a grating over its entrance.
Hi Ruth There appears to be wire netting in front and behind and below this young fox. I cant see whether there is also netting in the other directions. Was it in that location naturally or is it in some kind of cage?
The young fox was caught beside the drain. There were 4-5 young foxes in all, they and the mother disappeared after this young one was caught. Birds are still taken but not to the same extent.
