Oops! well spotted Ian. Now I can see the spots too. I had wondered about the up-curve of the stronger line on the hind wing. That feature too better suits E. fractaria.

Worn, but I believe I can see the 'ring' markings on the hindwings and the brownish trailing edge of the forewings.
