Cryptophasa tetrazona, Xyloryctidae. The markings at the outer costal margin suggested it may be an Xylorictid! Other Cryptophasa spp. seem to have this 'calling card' .

A new species for Canberra and Southern Tablelands region when confirmed. Also has been recorded for Greater Brisbane region. Excellent photo,
