I think the second band is too wide for M. heminophela. Will look on Bold Systems 4.

This is a battered specimen of the common M. desmotona. M. aphristis is probably a much less common and northern moth. There is a nest of issues raised in BOLD around M. aphristis, callispila, crocosema and desmotona that I haven't tried to get on top of, but if you look at the M. aphristis specimens in Ian's second link above, the ACT ones mostly (with one exception!) look like CNM's longstanding M. desmotona. (The first link shows iNAT's single M. aphristis specimen which also looks like another desmotoma. INAT has many M. desmotoma)
