Hi Ernier, Could you check the length you gave please, 100-150 mm as it is incompatible with my suggested ID as Peron's Tree Frog. Do its eyes have cross shaped pupils? And what call does it make? You will have heard it at night I expect, maybe a laughing sort of cackle sound. If I am right its armpits and groin will be bright yellow, with black blotches.

Hi there, we went back to measure the frog, but it was gone! How annoying. Hubby thinks it may have been only 6-8cm max. I couldn't see it's eyes, I didn't want to pick it up and upset it. Also I don't think we've heard it's call.

6-8 cm is more appropriate for peronii and I can't think what else it could be. A pity we didn't get a peek at the hidden colours on the hind legs. Always worth including that if you can, even at the risk of disturbing it. Frog ids can be difficult even at the best of times and anything included is always a help.
