It's our understanding that, as the suburbs were built, Mt Rogers was replanted with native species. It had previously been woody-grassland, and rocky-grassland before being 'grazed to death'. At least two clusters of Snow Gums were among the non-local species planted into the reserve.
Smooth cream coloured bark. Parallel veined lanceolate-falcate adult leaves. Location and site history. All point to E.pauciflora. Probably E.pauciflora subsp pauciflora. But best leave it at E.pauciflora. Note the AI has trouble with Eucalypts, as they have so many varying features.
