Frogs

Frogs belong to a group of animals called amphibians. All Australian amphibians are frogs. There are about 4000 frog species worldwide and Australia has 208 frog species; many of these are endemic - that is, they are found nowhere else in the world. Frogs play a key role in many food webs, both as predators and as prey.

absolutely get your point, would be amazing to have a survey submission form, but that can not be helped. I think we got all species now, right??

Hi @AnkeMaria, it is challenging to record separate species especially when there are so many Crinia signifera calling. I made a number of recordings in a small area of Long Gully Swamp, trying to concentrate on one species for each. You should have records for C. signifera from a few hundred metres away and C. parinsignifera, Lim. peronii, lim. tas,

Limnodynastes peronii

This was to record the Crinia parinsignifera, as distinct from the Crinia signifera a few metres away

Crinia parinsignifera
833,899 sightings of 23,612 species from 15,434 members
