New location of this rare species, with only a few recent local records.

User's notes

Single frog calling from within grass and leaf litter beside a wet depression in the ground. A single Crinia signifera found ~ 15cm from this individual. Audio recording of its call also made, will upload calls as well. Yellow markings on its front arms and tail. Single yellow spot on each hind leg. Obvious ridges on the back of its head.

Great shot! Is that a biting fly on its back? did you get any other photos where it can be seen clearly?

Hi TimCut, I dont recall there being a biting insect on it. I agree that blurry thing looks like one, but it wasn't.
