The guide usually gave ID, but sometimes just 'crocodile'. In NT there was a mix, but in Kimberley I think it was salties.
We were told one way of telling the difference was to jump into the water. A freshwater crocodile would move away, but a saltwater crocodile would move towards you. Nobody tried :-)

Cannot be entirely sure of ID without seeing the belly. Best fit is L. lesueurii.
