Good job getting an image of its right face @SandraH. I have copies of photos of two individuals whose faces were photographed from near that site. This RIGHT face is clearly different to the right face of one photographed by Mick Clarke, dingo trapper, in 2015, but it is similar to the LEFT face of one photographed by Matt Higgins in 2014. The left and right faces of each individual differ by varying degrees so it is impossible to be sure, but this right face is similar enough to the left face of the 2014 goanna that I suspect it may be the same animal. Rosenberg's Goannas can live for decades and are highly faithful to a home range, so it would not be a big stretch to see the same one on the same site 10 years later, although the longest I have personally experienced is 7 years.
