Definitely a blind snake, probably belonging to the genus Anilios, and most probably Anilios nigrescens but it could be another species like Anilios bituberculatus, which has recently been recorded in nearby Port Macquarie. Therefore it's prudent to list this as Anilios sp. because of the uncertainty.

I reckon it's an Eastern Brown, based on colour, size, pattern (albeit very slight) and head shape, which is more elongate, with a more pointed snout than that of a Tiger.
