User's notes

Survey was undertaken with an experienced zoologist/ecologist (Terri-Ann English). There was traffic noise as the creek is near 2 roads. We also visited a part of the river approx. 15m upstream which had aquatic vegetation (rushes, floating macrophytes) but no frogs were calling. This area was quite dry, stream width about 30cm, no canopy. Image was taken from Ford St looking over creek. Observer area is within a few metres from Ford St.; Size: 1 m�; Aquatic Veg: None; Bank Veg: Dense grass, trees up to several metres high, weeds, shrubs; Overhead Canopy: Canopy shading but not crown to crown; Landscape: Urban, playing fields; QAQC Notes: did not hear smooth toadlet and striped marsh frog but these results are consistent with last year, therefore accepted
