The river is 10m wide slow moving pool at this site.; Size: 400 m�; Aquatic Veg: Juncus and Phragmites spp. in narrow stands at edge of open water, no submergent vegetation apparent.; Bank Veg: Scattered stands of Leptospermum spp, Poa tussock and introduced grasses, blackberry; Overhead Canopy: Mature willows- scattered individuals; Landscape: cultivated and grazed paddocks, stock have partial access to this site; QAQC Notes: Very early in evening - probably > numbers if after dark.
