Drysdalia rhodogaster (Mustard-bellied Snake)

Mustard-bellied Snake is one of three species of Drysdalia snakes, short somewhat thinnish snakes, found in Australian and New Guinea. It is brown snake with a distinct dark head and a lighter brown band on the nape of the neck. It can grow up to 0.46 metres.

Distribution: A number of records in Blue Mountains, around Wollongong, and along the South Coast of NSW. The closest Atlas of Living Australia records to Canberra are found in Kosciusko NP (one), east of Lake George (one) and north of Goulburn (one).
