Arhopalus (genus) (Longhorn beetle)

Cerambycidae: Spondylidinae

Arhopalus is a Palearctic (temperate Eurasian) genus. Two species which have been accidentally introduced into eastern Australia, A. rusticus and A. syriacus, attack pine trees, but their preference for damaged standing trees, stumps and logs means they are of little economic importance.
