User's notes

a single sub adult, probably male, under a rock that had been disturbed by vandals. Llatopalmata do breed in the river edge pools close by in Summer. I'm certain it wasn't L. lesueuri. Back was single colour and snout typically pointy, side stripe typically discontinuous past shoulder.

I assume the frog is not in this image. I would have been confident that it was latopalmata if you had mentioned that the black canthal stripe was interrupted in front of the eye, diagnostic for this species in this region. If you can remember if this was so, then worth reporting here.

Hey John
Its Darren Roso here. ACT Parks Ranger.
The image is of habitat and location. Frog was too quick for me.
No. I don't recall the stripe at or about the eye but I'm very confident it was a Ll.
I recorded this as in spite of optimal rains for 3 years, breeding success of Ll has been low. This sub adult suggests some breeding success.
Cheers D

I've recorded this species nearby north of Pt Hut several times.
