This is a plant that we are trying to prevent becoming widely established in the ACT. This is the second infestation on Bruce Ridge. Please remove from garden if you have it

User's notes

Plant growing underneath a Cherry Ballart tree. I'll return and dig out the tubers.

Thank you for spotting it. And yes when you dig them out it is quite a slow process to get all the tubers and root mass. The foliage breaks off easily, so I find marking the points where it is rooting from is best before starting work. Then please map on the 2021-22 Treated weeds or TREATED WEEDS ArcGIS on-line map or use Field Maps app. We have a post graduate student looking at new and emerging invasive plants so best we map as many controlled sites as possible for his research.

Thanks team. It's a small infestation and I've lots of experience digging out the tubers, so I'm confident I'll get them all. I'll add it to the treated weeds layer once they're removed.
