Passiflora cinnabraina is a native but not indigenous to the ACT. However the vine has supported the summer breeding of the Glasswing Butterfly (Acraea andromacha) which is otherwise an occasional vagrant in the ACT. As the passionfruit doesn't seem to be spreading far or fast, I am inclined to just keep a watch on it.
Red Passionflower has become highly invasive within ANBG and in its northern annex. The Friends of Black Mountain have removed thousands of plants in the past few months to try to prevent its spread into the reserve. I think all plants seen within the reserve should be removed.
