User's notes

Single red wasp struggling to climb a slender blade of grass. I thought it looked like the flower wasp Thynnus zonatus, but it doesn't look as orange, the antennae are shorter and the abdomen looks much more robust. The insect rapidly vibrated its wings (without opening them) against its abdomen when I was taking its photo. The insect then flew away, and gave the impression it could only barely fly with its immense mass.
