The sparse forewing pattern looks like Taxeotis mimela, which has been found in New South Wales and Victoria.

I reckon this record and 4 other Taxeotis records still waiting for confirmation are variants of the very common Taxeotis intextata and I'm going to put them all there. please correct me if you disagree.
