Got called out today by a neighbour who was watching the brown snake heading up the footpath to her lawn. It had just finished crossing the road. I grabbed a plastic rake on the way down the driveway and spent about 5 mins gently coaxing it back across the road and back up the gutter so it could slide into Ginninderra Creek Reserve. Very nice being able to get a snake across the road alive instead of picking up nearly dead ones! 60 Carlile St Evatt, Geoff, if you'd like to place it on the Nature Map. Mandy Conway
