Well spotted. Merocroca automima has the yellow extend further along the costa to the apex, beside the brown patch. In Echinocosma catachrysa it does not.

The australian fauna still needs to be revised so it is wise to add the tribe (which contains all this type of staph - 'Quedius' looking) and if it is needed just the Heterothops genus
