Can't play audio...

Audio now working but the counts displayed are not what I submitted and I can't see a way to fix this

Hi Ryu,
Can you please have a go at suggesting new counts for each species? We have made a ton of system changes and unfortunately some of the earlier surveys were defaulted back to 1-5 abundance. All these bugs are fully resolved now going forward. Cheers Aaron.

2:48 sounds almost like a spotted burrowing frog- neobatrachus sudelli
   19 Mar 2019
Thanks Aaron and Anke.
Interesting Anke - it certainly does sound a bit like it but I'm sure I would have noticed it at the time since we spent quite a bit of time there, and burrowing frogs aren't subtle. Also the level of the dam was very low and wouldn't have had the conditions for them to come out.
Shame we can't skip back/forwards on the recording. You have to listen to the whole thing all over again!

ha- here I can help- download the recording (click on the 3 dots on the right of the recording)
once it is downloaded you can manipulate the thing much better
One thing I would like to know- how were you able to enter this survey into the FW data base given that the site is not an established FW site??
   19 Mar 2019
I used to be able to click on the map and select location (like the normal Canberra Nature Map page), but I've tried again now and I can't do that anymore, can only select frogwatch sites. Clearly I got in before Aaron had all of that sorted. Would you prefer that I deleted this one and posted it to Canberra Nature Map instead if it is problematic for you having a non-frogwatch site list in this database?

You nailed this one 10 out of 10- it will be better to add this to the general CNM data base and once you have done this I can delete it from our data base- I do not even know how to ever find your survey again (without the comment link) as it does not show up under the codes.

The only thing is, it seems the survey function has gone from CNM, so it'll be 6 separate sightings. In which case I might as well use photos for 4 of the species. Might wait for Aaron's input on this one.

Hi Ryu, Surveys will definitely come back onto CNM soon once we have the feature running smoothly (using this frogwatch site as our test pilot). More to come, stay tuned. Busy times!!!
   20 Mar 2019
Thanks Aaron, I might hold off on moving this over to CNM until that is up and running in that case.
I note there is a new Naturemapr update on google play - is that a full reinstall or is an update fine?

Ryu to be honest I would full re-install just to be safe.

We'll be updating the app quite a bit over the next few days/week or so. A few things to tighten up, so it won't likely be the last update.. But getting better all the time.
