User's notes

This site is down stream of Lake Tuggeranong weir. Often has a strong unpleasant smell from the sewerage breather chimney. Monitoring is conducted on a small concrete causeway that crosses the creek. Water pools upstream on the causeway which acts as a small dam when the water level is low. No frogs heard.; Size: 10 m�; Aquatic Veg: Algae, mostly Vaucheria and Cyanoprokaryotic crusts, reeds and sedges downstream and upstream of site; Bank Veg: Grasses, mostly exotic species; Overhead Canopy: Casuarinas; Landscape: As above but with many woody weeds;
