User's notes

There was a strange sound to start with - maybe a Lit.peronii warming up - like a start up cackle that didn't descend (fewer notes). Then later some high pitched squeakes??? - from region with Lit.verreauxii and several Lit. peronii; Size: 600 m; Aquatic Veg: ~10m2 of ferny aquatic veg; Bank Veg: ~1m wide fringe of sedges - mostly continuous around dam; Overhead Canopy: single med-sized Euc; Landscape: open woodland with one dense patch on one side; QAQC Notes: Audio cassette, Photo digital, Definitly strange noise on this tape! High pitched kind of like Limtas, but weird? Checked by Will Osborne - said it was likely just a juvenile Lim.tas / warming up. Apparently some Lim.tas popns in VIC have this call.
