Thought about that ID, the general pattern on this moth as in the ways the lines go is different. Then there are the palps, which are not as long as the proposed species.

A new species for NatureMapr and ffor Canberra and Southern Tablelands region if confirmed. I see only a few observations from life online mainly in southern and western Vicoria but the ALA says the moth is native to 'New South Wales''and Bold Systems three records are from NSW too. Nice photo.

Agree the wing pattern is a closer match, pity there isn't a side view to show the size of the palps.
