This a known location but now looks like a very large and significant population that needs to conserved and should be excluded from any controlled burns.

Yes very large population here, the most I have ever seen, as well as the largest known patch of button wrinklewart. Quite an important site.
Also a known site of Delma impar, and Canberra Raspy Cricket so there are plenty of reasons for conservation of this site!

No, but I think the top for the day was about 12 or 13 degrees, and there was a strong wind chill factor that afternoon. I'm guessing it was around 10 degrees while we were at the site.
