These plants show a superior ovary I think, which puts them in the old concept of Velleia. Plant morphology, including leaf shape and flower branching indicates G.paradoxa as well. I’m not sure about the nectary spur detail?

Goodenia paradoxa

Ciaran, None of the Goodenia flowers I looked at had nectary spurs. So should be pinnatifida rather than paradoxa. What were your criteria?

I undertook threatened reptile surveys at Gundary TSR around 1999-2000. At that time there were a number of inappropriate young shrub plantings in the grassland (Greening Australia I was told but I can't be sure). I think this plant probably dates from then, looks as though it is coming back after cut and dab control.
