Looking on iNaturalist suggests to me that in plan view from above A. catarrhacta presents as more of a constricted 'vase' shape (black vase, white field); whereas A. stratifera is more linear ie as the name suggests: ie. A. stratifera. Paradoxically that analysis tends to suggest to me this is A. catarrhacta rather than A. stratifera.
I have been working on the assumption that A. stratifera has a more solid brown line along the outer wing margin rather than ticks. Just to confuse matters further there also is A. mesochra. I found this on iNat: "In A. catarrhacta the palps are pure white and the front legs are striped. In A.stratifera the palps are white but tipped black and front leg white. In A.mesochroa the palps are white but tipped black and front leg striped but mostly black." https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/147657317
