I can't really tell what this is from these images. The seed heads appear to be plump and on both sides of the stem which is more typical of wallaby grasses. Vulpia has seed heads on one side of the stem and they are much longer and narrower. At this time of the year all the Vulpia has died back and looks very skeletal.

Actually, wallaby grass was my first thought, but then I doubted it. It is good if it is wallaby grass.
