User's notes

I think just over 5mm. A moth flies in and lands on a dry grass twig, not realising there is a small spider lower down. The spider slowly creeps up to the moth, then jumps onto its head, the moth tries to fly off, but the spider brings it back to the twig and subdues it. I wish I knew more about how this played out - I had thought it was a jumping spider, but do they also spin silk, and how did it overcome the moth? Does it use venom? Sorry poor photos, but the camera refused to focus on a single blade of grass ;(.
