@Tapirlord R. carphoides can be readily identified based on the tightly packed, very fluffy inflorescence that looks like a pom-pom. While images of seeds would increase my confidence of the ID, I am still reasonably happy with the assessment that this is R. carphoides.

In carphoides, the lateral lobes are obtuse, acute or acuminate, but not or very minutely awned. In these photos, the lateral lobes seem to have long awns/bristles. Without a photo of the lemma, I wouldn't like to say what it was
