Using the Moths of Victoria key (Part 4). No pale dorsal stripe, has pale costal margin ,faint single discal spots in forewing and hindwing which not green, red or black, therefore may fit Prasinocyma (genus). MOV Sp.1. Not P. semicrocea because that species has no discal spots, and termen of hindwing is produced to a distinct point (not evident here). However there are no apparent red extremities to costa (P.(genus NOV Sp, 1) or black dots on termen (Chlorocosma externa). This leaves Maxates (genus) all of which, named and unnamed sp. have a slightly produced hindwing termen, and pale or slightly ochreous margins although the angle of this shot does suggest some production of thermen the degree to which this is present here is not clear,
Yes. I guess the apparent straightness of the forewing costa and shortening of the fringes could be due to foreshortening because of the oblique view. I think I see a slightly dark spot in each cell.
I have suggested Maxates (genus) rather than M. calaina because in the Maxates (genus) the hindwings are most produced in M. calaina and less so in the other un-named spp. Notwithstanding the foreshortening I don't see the abrupt'production of the hindwing margin I would expect in M. calaina.
