User's notes

Quite small, maybe about 15-20cm tall, fairly common along the edge of the summit road between Rawson Pass and Seamans Hut.

Could be L. novae-cambriae, L.Alpestris or L.atrata. If you could describe the habitat that would narrow things down (sorry i know this was a while ago).

From memory it was pretty rocky and disturbed near the summit road, quite wet as a lot of water was draining through from the higher elevation on the east side of the road, there were lots of low plants growing, such as my other sightings from around the same time: Pimelea alpina (Alpine Rice-flower) Ewartia nubigena (Silver Ewartia) Leucochrysum alpinum (Alpine Sunray) Brachyscome spathulata (Coarse Daisy, Spoon-leaved Daisy)
