Arthropodium sp. Albury (A.D.J.Piesse 9) is common in the Nangus area, especially in grassland. Arthropodium strictum also occurs in the area but in dry woodland, and flowers significantly earlier than sp. Albury ( hitherto known as Dichopogon sp. A sensu Harden (1993)). There are clearly 2 species in the area. This sample from Mundarlo is not strictum as it has more than one pedicel at most of the nodes on the spike, which strictum does not have.
