User's notes

Large colony so abundance is abitrary. Not sure how to tell the different between the two golden-tailed sugar ants.

Hi Tapirlord, Camponotus aeneopilosus always has black legs and head and tends not to look very hairy, while Camponotus suffusus usually has some reddish colour in the head and legs and always has a fuzzy look due to the dense, short hairs on the body and head. If you have good images, particularly in side view and looking at the face of the ant, you should also be able to see differences in the shape of the body and head. There's a lot of species so it takes a while to get your head around them. Cheers, Jon
