Difficult to see the detail needed to identify this skink . Most likely Eastern Striped Skink Ctenotus robustus. C. robustus tends to have a narrow horizontal pale stripe below eye which is hard to detect in this photo. It does however show the start of a narrow pale dorso-lateral stripe bordered below by a wider dark stripe and that is typical of C. robustus. The only other, I think less likely, candidate would be White's Skink Liopholis whitii. I'll give other moderators a chance to add any further comments or suggestions.

I agree with Will, not much to go on here. Handy tip that might have helped, before you post an image, run it through a package to reduce shadows. I do that with just about every photograph I take. Body colours no visible here may just be seen that might have help us. With the thick set looking head it could be whitii but not certain.

Thank you. I will try and do that in future.

Before we mark this one as inconclusive Tammy, did you take any more photos of the same individual? If you did you could check if any of them show a little more of the lizard. If they do it would be good if you added another photo to your record. Thanks, Will

Hi Will, I have posted 2 more and tried to lighten them, but they're not much better.

I reckon this is a White's Skink (Liopholis whitii) due to the predominantly pale gray colour of the head, pale supraciliary scales (upper eye-lid), and general stockiness/robust head. Whilst I agree there's not much to go on, at least the quaIity of the image gives us a good look at the little we do have.
