Apparently quite similar to Crocidosema plebejana this moth is very plain looking and apparently lacks the characteristic triangular-shaped dorsal marking of that species. Similar to Sprepsicrates (genus) also but does not seem to match S. infensa. I have not been able to match it to any of the Eucosminii tribe on the ALA or iNaturalist.
Thanks for your comment Ian I'm confused between Crocidosema and Holocola. Are they closely related? I have so many photos that might be one or the other and am in the dark. ALA has this record of Crocidosema plebejana https://biocache.ala.org.au/occurrences/5319a519-a348-491c-9849-10cdba7a6ae5 which is similar to this record.
Yes, there is apparently a lot of variation in Crocidosema. we have been allocating several of these to the 'Spilonota-group'. I think this specimen looks similar to Sighting No. 4383717. See Glenn's comments on the group here:- https://canberra.naturemapr.org/species/44249
