Starting in 2016 Friends of Mt Majura removed hundreds of English Elms including many suckers which invaded this area of Mt Majura nature reserve from Valour Park located in the north; see https://majura.org/woody-weeds-follow-up-working-party-19032017/
Apart from the mature English Elm trees in Valour park there are many suckers right along the fence with Mt Majura nature reserve.
Friends of mt Majura volunteers who are committed and care for the nature reserve have a continuous problem with weeds originating from the neighbouring park (and the managers contemptuous of the natural environment in the reserve and volunteers caring for it).
