Hi jgiacon, did you see Weebills at the nest?

Hmmm, the leaves in this image look very similar to those in an image i took of a weebill bringing food to young in a nest on 10th Jan. Without giving the exact location away, is it anywhere near Campbell Park?? If so, there is a Weebill in the photo in my ebird list.

Hi, I saw the birds going to the nest. The photo is with an iPhone so I had to be close. No chance of getting the birds in the photo. It is in Campbell park, N of the horse gate, just past the small dam. The coordinates are above.

jgiacon, we usually try to keep the exact location of nests private to ensure the birds are not hassled at this sensitive time, and do not abandon the nest.

Yes, thanks Christine you are right, I think also by ticking the nesting site box on the sighting it suppresses the location from public view. I have now confirmed as well.

Thanks. I didn't know that but will tick the box in future. Cheers. John
