User's notes
This individual was swinging on a thread that was about 2m long. As I watched it started to climb up the thread. It did so by creating a wriggle which enabled the third legs down to grasp the thread. They would lift the caterpillar which would then grab the thread at approximately mouth level before wriggling down to enable the third set of legs to again grasp the thread.
