User's notes

The wasp appeared to be attending to the aphids however, every now and then it would double up (second and third images) as though trying to penetrate the plant stem. Unsure what this behaviour was.

Ichneumon wasps are internal parasites. The wasp seems to be laying eggs, but I think the larva of this wasp would be too large to fit inside an aphid.
