Thanks Lisa. Still very hard to see some of the key features that allow us to separate tympanum from heatwolei. It does not appear to have a pale edge to ear opening (like tympanum has) but really hard to see. The head shape looks a bit more like tympanum. I am not prepared to say anything other than it is Eulamprus. If you are back at that site you might be able to creep closer and get another side view photo of head and upper body. Thanks a lot for submitting the photograph. Will

Thank you for taking the time to look closely at the photos. So rare to see these lizards at any time, but I will try and take clearer photos, and from the side, in future. I sincerely appreciate your feedback and expertise.
