Probably OK. I am somewhat concerned that in a plant as young as this it appears that there is no sign of juvenile leaves. Also I cannot see any glands on the leaves.
When I used my free app Plants of South Eastern New South Wales, inputting Major Plant Group -Wattles; Compound leaves - No; Flower head shape - globular/spherical; and number of tiny flowers/florets in a head - 9-20, about 70 possibles came up, not including Acacia howittii, which is not listed in the app. You could cut that down a lot by counting the number of flowers in a head yourself and inputting leaf length and width. The online version of the app is https://apps.lucidcentral.org/plants_se_nsw/text/intro/index.html and has had several mistakes fixed which are not yet in the app. Some details about Acacia howittii are at http://worldwidewattle.com/imagegallery/image.php?p=0&l=h&id=23681&o=1
Once you think you are close to an identification, check the images on Canberra Nature Map Quick Search. You can often find pictures of the plant at the same stage of flowering.
