User's notes

Betty, the glands are easy to see and the plants were growing in a very damp area so. We grew O. tenuifolia and I am very familiar with them. This plant is definitely not O.T.

Olearia glandulosa has 15-25 petals. Its leaves have prominent swellings along the rolled margins. Olearia tenuifolia has 7-18 petals. Its leaves are flat, the margins entire to regularly toothed. I am not sure which character, number of petals, or leaf characteristics, to go with.

I suppose on looking at photo 2, that the flowers are a bit past it, so don’t have dropped some petals.
