The head and all white antennae present in a similar way to the recently identified Chlorocoma sp.(genus) specimen ,see sighting No. 21491, although this specimen with its branched antennae is clearly a male. Similarly, the prominent black discal spots on the forewing are similar (although the hindwing pair are apparently obscured ) and there is no yellow or cream mid-dorsal line. These last two features are consistent with C. externa and additionally there is a fringe of yellow then a hint of pink/red edge , but (unlike for Sighting No. 21491 ) there is also some black spots just visible on the edge of the forewing - particularly the RH one (i.e a feature which is characteristic of C. externa). Therefore I am suggesting C. externa.
