I'm suggesting Cleora sp.(genus) because identifying to species level is by no means straightforward. I think my specimen looks most similar t to C. injectaria (see Lepidoptera Butterfly House), However, as Moths of Victoria, Part 7 points out the Type specimen of C. injectaria comes from Ceylon and it is by no means sure whether that species can be assigned to southern Australian specimens. No Cleora spp. are identified to species by Moths of Victoria, however I think my specimen looks most similar to some females of 'Cleora sp.2' or perhaps even 'Cleora sp. 4'.) as illustrated in Moths of Victoria.
