The Satin Bowerbird has completed his bower and was courting a female offering her a blue bottle lid. She flirted with him, then left and a second female came in, inspected the nest and also left. After I left the male then retrieved the blue lid and chased after the first female, and I encountered them again a little distance further on. He again offered his most prized possession, the blue lid.
