Great to hear about the chicks but sad about the adult female!

Sad - but ok if it is just old age

That's the puzzle - no sign of disease, except perhaps age . . ? She perched with her head a bit lower, not quite hunched, but fluffled out feathers. It was just her illthrift, her stillness - she was acting strangely, and over a number of days, different to 99% of my (our) observations of gang gangs.
